• Newly machined wood is a very light yellow, but changes to a chestnut brown on contact with
UV light and oiling.

• Our Maple worktops are delivered with a bespoke finish and are of Grade A standard. Our worktops are supplied in 150 grit, sanded and un-oiled meaning they are ready for matching and finishing once they are delivered to your home before installation.
• Maple has a fine, uniform texture. It is heavy, strong, stiff, hard, and resistant to shock.
• A large proportion is manufactured into flooring, furniture, cabinets, cutting boards and blocks.

• Oak is extremely strong and durable and has been used for centuries for making everything from furniture to boats and houses.
• It has some grain variation and is a mid-brown with some small flecks of red and white.

There is tremendous versatility in a timber worktop because they are very much at home in a traditional or contemporary setting.

This tremendous timber has a predominantly straight grain with the added interest of a waviness that enhances its appeal. The colour variation in Walnut worktops only adds to the attraction. A Walnut work surface will give warmth to any kitchen colour-scheme.

The lovely deep rich tone of Black American walnut combines wonderfully with its superb grain structure. Naturally dark, Black American walnut will, with time, mature to a sophisticated almost black hue.
