Tambour doors are highly popular in modern kitchen design, creating a focal point they also offer practical storage for small appliances and handy worktop level access. They can also be used in other areas such as utility rooms, offices and mobile homes. Operating on a balanced spring roller mechanism (except the side opening), the doors have a smooth operation and stop safely in any position. Vertical tambour units require an internal depth of 260mm and side opening tambours an internal depth of 270mm. The deluxe versions feature a face-fix frame which conceals the carcase edge and the standard versions fit within the carcase and have a facia piece on the top edge.
